Alex Mal Club Winter Longboard Championships

In December 1982 the Hayden Plantation Longboard Classic was run by the club.
The 1982 event was the first of the modern longboard events held anywhere in Australia.

Beach Beat Surf Shops have been the major sponsor for the last few years, and the Alex Mal Club is very appreciative of the support from Al and Jeni Hing, Noel Woods and the rest of the crew from Beach Beat.
